Visiting a heritage chess club can feel daunting, but we pride ourselves on exceptional hospitality. Here is everything you need to know before stepping through our oak doors.

What to bring: Nothing! Luxury wooden Staunton sets, boards, clocks, and score sheets are provided. -
Dress code: Smart casual. Comfortable attire suitable for relaxed evenings or competitive matches. -
Meet the Steward: When you arrive, speak to the Club Steward at the reception desk who will introduce you to members of similar rating.
